Nancy will be delivering a Voice-Over Acting seminar on March
29th at the Church of Scientology Celebrity Centre International
in Hollywood.
“How To Make It in the Voice-Over Industry” will
give you useful tips and know-how as an aspiring actor. Find
out the basics and the professional view of what it takes
to establish and maintain a career in Voice-Over Acting.
Celebrity Centre is located at 5930 Franklin Ave., Hollywood,
CA at the corner of Bronson and Franklin.
The event begins at 7:30 PM on Wednesday March 29th.

Nancy Speaks at the Annies
Nancy had the honor of attending the prestigious 33rd Annual
Annie Awards, animation’s biggest night.
She spoke on behalf of the ASIFA-Hollywood Animation Archive,
a project aimed to create an animation archive, museum and
library for animation buffs and regular folks alike. The ultimate
goal is to preserve the art of animation for the enjoyment
of future generations.
The event was held at the gorgeous Alex Theatre in Glendale,
California on February 4th. It was hosted by none other than
the now-infamous Tom Kenny (the voice of Spongebob Squarepants)
and saw Wallace and Grommit walk away with 10 Annies, sweeping
the 10 categories in which it was nominated. Congrats to them
and all other winners and nominees.
Simpsons Cruisin’!
America’s favorite spiky-headed, yellow-faced, trouble-making,
skateboarding ten-year-old is back. Fox announced last week
that it is picking up two more seasons of the animation juggernaut
The Simpsons, extending its amazing run to 19 seasons.
The two upcoming seasons will help to extend The Simpsons
lead as the longest running comedy series of all time. It
also leaves the show poised to close in on the top-slot for
most episodes to air for a comedy series. Watch out Ozzie
& Harriet, here we come!

Nancy Headed Back to Australia
Following the success of her first trip down under, Nancy
will be making another run through the Island Continent, giving
nine performances of her One Woman Show “My Life as
a 10-Year-Old-Boy” in three weeks.

Nancy Addresses Annual Leadership Conference for Girls
On March 11th, Nancy traveled to Englewood, Colorado, to
deliver the keynote speech at St. Mary’s Academy’s
fifth annual leadership conference for girls.
The conference addressed girls grades 7-12 who are starting
to look toward their futures.
Of all the speaking engagements that Nancy participates in,
this type is her absolute favorite, and the people at St.
Mary’s were wonderful to work with.
Nancy addressed 200 girls and their parents about her own
experience and career path, one that began back when she was
their age and continues evolving to this day.
As an added bonus, Nancy discovered that an “old friend”
she met in her teens at WING radio was in the area. Anne Schwebel
(now Diamond), the woman from Warner Bros. who gave Nancy
her first “break” by providing contact information
to voice acting legend Daws Butler, lived right there in Englewood!
Nancy was thrilled to have the opportunity to invite Anne
and her daughter Emily to the conference, where she finally
got the chance to publicly acknowledge her for being true
to her word, and writing with some solid advice to a girl
in Ohio who had dreams of some day voice acting in Hollywood.
