 The
world’s first and favorite stock car racing family has
made the move from the internet to television. The
Kellys is now available for viewing for all Time
Warner Cable customers.
If your internet is slow and your remote finger is fast,
or if the computer screen just isn’t big enough for

Tom Kenny MCs Blowout PALS Fundraiser
 On
Saturday, September 30th, Honorary Mayor Nancy Cartwright
and fellow Devonshire PALS (Police Activities League Supporters)
Board Member, Rose Goss, co-hosted a fantastic Monte Carlo
Night fundraiser under the stars at Nancy’s home in
Northridge, CA.
The evening’s proceeds were dedicated to the building
fund for a new youth center in the North San Fernando Valley
for kids-at-risk. MC Tom Kenny, the voice of SpongeBob SquarePants,
kept the night lively as he teamed up with Nancy Cartwright
to call out raffle winners, excite the party-goers during
the live auction and tickle the crowd into stitches with timely,
impromptu jokes between SpongeBob and Bart.
 The
guests swayed and danced to the crooning of Aaron Aviles backed
up by his extraordinary ensemble while world renowned magicians
Mickey Silver and Stan Gerson entertained guests throughout
the evening.
A great time was indeed had by all and the feature Texas
Hold ‘EM tournament went on with great drama and laughs
until the wee hours of the morning. The winner was none other
than a local L.A. girl, Rachel Cleverly, who also won the
Happy House fundraiser tourney just a month prior. She proudly
goes on to take a seat in the 2007 World Series of Poker Main
Event in Las Vegas. If she wins that, her initial donation
of $100 could lead to over $12,000,000!
 The
community has spoken, and it is indeed happy with the results
of the efforts of PALS Monte Carlo Night. A heartfelt thanks
goes out to Nancy for sponsoring the event, to Rose Goss and
Flora Litchfield, event producers, and to the entire Cartwright
Entertainment crew; the Los Angeles Police Department for
their tireless work in bringing the community together; to
all of the extraordinary volunteers and friends who gave so
much of their time and energy, to the individuals and corporations
who donated money, valuable goods and services to the event,
and to Lorraine New, Greg Baker, Sally Barnes, Mary Ann Conron
and the entire Devonshire PALS Board of Directors team. Very
Well Done!
It was an extraordinary event and the real winners are the
kids of the San Fernando Valley who will benefit for years
to come when they are able to start the after school programs
in their new youth center just that much sooner. But alas,
the game is not finished until the last nail is hammered,

Happy House Attending Kidsfaire 2006
 For
the second consecutive year, Happy House will host a booth
at Kidsfaire in Orange County on October 7 and 8. Kidsfaire
is an interactive environment designed to enrich the lives
of babies, children and families everywhere. There are hundreds
of booths and companies collected in one place with one goal
in mind, bettering the lives of children and their families.
This is a perfect fit for Happy House.
Last year was a tremendous success, with volunteers happily
working “overtime” to talk to all the booth’s
visitors. This year, Nancy and her Happy House volunteers
will be back with reinforcements, eagerly awaiting curious
kids and interested parents with coloring, crafts and other
creative activities.

Cartwright Entertainment a Model of Administration
On August 25th at Celebrity Center’s Garden Pavilion,
Cartwright Entertainment, Nancy Cartwright’s career
and production organization, won the Model of Admin Know-How
Award for the fourth consecutive year.
This award is granted by WISE to companies that manage their
businesses using specific principals developed by L. Ron Hubbard.
These methods of management create smooth communication lines,
productivity and solvency.
“Using this technology, tools that can be used for
any company large or small, has really helped us to expand
and create a really fun and prosperous game for all of us
to play.” Nancy Cartwright.
Happy House Hosts Frazier Park Seminar
 On
August 19th Happy House made its second visit to the Frazier
Park, California Community Center to host a Building Better
Families Seminar. Co-Founders Nancy Cartwright and Rose Goss
were the key speakers and seminar leaders in this interactive
two hours.
The seminar occurred just days after every mailbox in the
entire Frazier Park region, 5000 to be exact, received a complementary
copy of The Way to Happiness booklet.
The seminar introduces families to key precepts from that
booklet; and through drills in communication and role-playing
games, demonstrates how to better handle and control family
situations to lead to a happier life.
Many new facets to the seminar, including a visual power
point slide show and new interactive demonstrations, were
added and worked quite well.
Peter Kjenaas, Executive Director of Happy House and a local
resident of the Frazier Park area, wants to thank all those
who contributed their time and effort to making this possible
and giving Happy House the opportunity to hone and deliver
the revised seminar.
Happy House Does Poker Party!
 Happy
House had a big Poker Party at Nancy Cartwright’s renovated
home on the evening of August 26th.
The well-attended event was part open house, part fundraiser
for Happy House booklets and a great time for both players
and those just there to watch the fun and enjoy the barbeque.
Following a couple of hours of mingling and chatting in the
new patio area, the players sat down to some “serious”
no limit Texas Hold ‘Em. The top prize would be a $1,000
seat in the big PALS Monte Carlo night tourney on September
30th which has as its top prize a $10,000 seat in the 2007
main event at the World Series of Poker!
 Roughly
30 players competed for the top six prizes. The players ranged
from seasoned tournament players to rank beginners but all
had a great time as the professional dealers moved the games
along swiftly, punctuated later in the evening by the raffle
drawings.
By midnight the players were down to the final table and
eliminations came quickly. The final six, all prize winners,
were Marty Sherman, John Futris, Scott Bailey, Kenton Gray,
Sue MacFarland and Rachel Cleverly, who - along with her Chihuahua
Jack, snoozing in her sweatshirt - was the grand prize winner.
The night was a wonderful success and Nancy and Rose Goss
would like to thank tournament directors Glenn Poole and John
Futris and the entire volunteer group for working so hard
to make this a smashing event!
